Photo and video day

Half a day on site. The files are yours, for everything, forever.

The single biggest difference between a site that looks like a real business and one that looks like a template is whether the photographs are of you. Stock photos of a stranger in a hard hat are recognised instantly, and they quietly cost you the trust the rest of the site is trying to build.

Fixed quote Half a day on site

This is for you if

  • Your site uses stock photos, or phone snaps taken in bad light
  • You have a shop, a yard, a fleet or a team worth showing
  • You need photos for the site, the listing and social all at once

It is not for you if

  • You already have good recent photography, in which case we will just use it

What it actually includes

Every line below is work that gets done, not a category. Where a term is unavoidable it is explained on the spot.

01

Half a day on site

Your premises, your team, your equipment and the work actually happening. Shot in the part of the day the light suits the building rather than whenever is convenient, which is most of the difference between photos that look professional and photos that do not.

02

Shot to fit where it goes

Framed for the places it will actually appear, which means room around the subject for a wide banner crop and a square version for the listing. Photography that is not planned for its slot ends up cropped through somebody's head.

03

Short video for the listing and social

A handful of short vertical clips. Google favours listings with video and almost no local business has any, which makes it one of the cheapest advantages still lying around.

04

Edited, sized and delivered twice

Colour corrected and delivered in two forms: full resolution originals for print and anything future, and web-sized copies already compressed. Uploading a 6 MB original to a website is one of the most common self-inflicted speed problems we see.

How it runs

Half a day on site, start to finish. You get the fixed number before any of it begins.

  1. Before A short call about what needs showing, and picking the right time of day.
  2. The day Roughly four hours on site. You keep working, mostly.
  3. Within a week Edited files delivered, in both sizes, organised.

What you end up with

What this does not cover

Drone work and full video production. Both are available through people we trust and both are quoted separately rather than hidden in the number.

Questions people actually ask

Do I have to be in them?

No, though the ones with people in them consistently outperform the empty ones. We can shoot the work and the premises and keep you out of frame entirely if you would rather.

Can I use them anywhere?

Anywhere, forever, including print, ads and social. There is no licence and no expiry. They are photographs of your business and they belong to you.

Not sure this is the right tier?

Run the free inspection. It takes about 30 seconds, needs no email, and it is what the recommendation is built from. If a cheaper tier will do, we will tell you that.
