Landing pages for ads

One page, one thing to do on it, built for the ad that sent them.

Sending paid traffic to your homepage is the most common way to waste an advertising budget. The homepage has to serve everybody, which means it asks the visitor to choose. A landing page asks them to do one thing, and that difference routinely doubles the number of calls from the same spend.

Fixed quote About three days

This is for you if

  • You are running ads, or about to
  • You have one service worth far more to you than the others
  • Your ads get clicks that never turn into calls

It is not for you if

  • You are not advertising at all, where this has nothing to send it traffic

What it actually includes

Every line below is work that gets done, not a category. Where a term is unavoidable it is explained on the spot.

01

One page, one action

No navigation to wander off into, no other services competing for attention. The offer, the proof, and the phone number. Everything else on a normal page is an exit, and an exit is a click you already paid for.

02

Written to match the ad

The headline repeats the words from the ad they clicked. That match is what tells a visitor in half a second that they are in the right place, and it is what Google rewards with a lower cost per click.

03

Built to load instantly on a phone

Paid traffic is overwhelmingly mobile and impatient. These pages are built to the same weight budget as the rest of what we do, because a slow landing page is charged for twice: once by the ad platform and again by the customer who left.

04

Tracking wired in

Calls and form submissions from this page tracked separately, so you can see what this page produced rather than what the site produced. Without that split you cannot tell a working ad from a working website.

How it runs

About three days, start to finish. You get the fixed number before any of it begins.

  1. Day one What the offer is, who it is aimed at, and what the ad will say.
  2. Days two and three Built, tracked and tested on a real phone.
  3. After Adjusted once the first real traffic shows what people do on it.

What you end up with

What this does not cover

Managing the ad campaign itself, which is the advertising service. The page can be built for a campaign somebody else runs and that is completely fine.

Questions people actually ask

Can I have more than one?

Yes, and you usually should. One per service or per town, because the closer the page matches the search the cheaper the call gets.

Does it hurt my SEO?

No. Landing pages for ads are normally kept out of search results deliberately, so they neither help nor harm what the main site ranks for.

Not sure this is the right tier?

Run the free inspection. It takes about 30 seconds, needs no email, and it is what the recommendation is built from. If a cheaper tier will do, we will tell you that.
