Every line below is work that gets done, not a category. Where a term is unavoidable it is explained on the spot.
Text or email the change and it is done, usually within hours, at no extra cost. Prices, hours, staff, photos, a new service. This is the line item owners underestimate: the alternative is a change request and an invoice, so most people simply leave the site wrong.
Kept off the server, because a backup on the same machine is not a backup. Restores tested rather than assumed, since an untested backup is a guess with paperwork.
The site is checked continuously, and so is the contact form, by sending a real test message and confirming it arrives. Form silence is the most expensive failure in this business because nothing looks broken while it is happening.
Hosting included, and renewal dates watched. A surprising number of local businesses go dark for a week every few years because a domain renewal bounced off an expired card nobody was watching.
Cancel any month, start to finish. You get the fixed number before any of it begins.
What this does not cover
New pages and redesigns. Small edits are unlimited, but a new section is a small project and gets quoted as one so the plan stays cheap for everyone.
Anything under about twenty minutes. Prices, hours, text, swapping photos, adding a staff member. We have never actually enforced this, and we will tell you plainly if something is a project instead.
